Exploring the English Premier League with Power BI
This Power BI dashboard offers a dynamic look at the English Premier League 2024/25, featuring the League Table, Fixtures, Player Statistics, and Historical Data.
Key functionalities include interactive selections and filters, allowing users to explore team-specific statistics. A Tree Map chart highlights Top Goal Scorers, which dynamically updates based on the selected team.
One challenge tackled in this project was filtering Fixtures when selecting a team. Since the dataset lists teams in both Home and Away fields without a direct relationship, a Boolean-based Measure was implemented. This method ensures Home and Away matches are displayed correctly when a team is chosen.
- Quick Stats on the top goal scorer and assists by club, adjusting based on selections.
- Detailed Team Statistics, including goals, penalties, and win percentages, with a team badge that updates dynamically.
The dashboard is built using static data from a spreadsheet.
